Prime Minister Modi is set to inaugurate a new airport and a revamped railway station in Ayodhya, ahead of the inauguration ceremony of the Ram Temple. The airport has been developed at a cost of over 1,450 CR rupees and will connect multiple major cities. The railway station has been redeveloped as a certified Green Building with modern facilities.
Prime Minister Modi is expected to inaugurate the new airport and revamped railway station in Ayodhya, along with laying the foundation stone for 46 infrastructure projects worth 15,700 CR rupees.
The new airport, Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, has been developed at a cost of over 1,450 CR rupees and will be connected to major cities in India.
The revamped railway station, Ayodhya Junction, has been redeveloped at a cost of 240 CR rupees.
Regular flight operations from the new airport will start on January 6th.
The new airport and revamped railway station in Ayodhya are equipped with facilities such as lifts, escalators, waiting halls, cloakrooms, and food plazas.
The airport is expected to be the main landing point for visitors coming to Ayodhya.
The Prime Minister will be flagging off six Vande Bharat trains from the railway station.
The city of Ayodhya is decorated and cultural programs are organized at various locations.
The Prime Minister will have a roadshow along a 15 km stretch in Ayodhya.
PM Modi will be holding a roadshow and inaugurating the new airport and railway station in Ayodhya, as well as flagging off trains and laying foundation stones for development projects.
Performers from different states of India are presenting cultural programs during the roadshow.
PM Modi will also inaugurate two Amit trains and six trains from the Ayodhya airport.
He will lay the foundation stones for development projects worth 15,000 CR.
